Jet-Hot High Performance Exhaust Coatings
My Brock Titanium dual exhaust is off to Jet=Hot Coatings in NC.......800-432-3379 for special inside and outside header/pipe assembly nano formula treatment. Used by John Force on his funny cars, and many other national racers, space shuttle engine exhaust, US Army Stryker vehicle exclusively....reduces pipe header temp. 300 degrees.
John Force hits his header with a sledge hammer...the coating does not chip or peel off!!
A very impressive coating application that ensures long life, cooler running, and a great appear ing exhaust system.....the cans will remain Titanium finish because of the CF on the tips..and will still look great against flat black matte finish from exhaust port to muffler clamp.
There is a video on how they do it and shows the effectiveness for power, cooling, long life, rust protection and making HP.....after all when you pay 2200.00 for a Brock pipe......a few dollars more may add a couple of extra ponies.....
This finish took all the heat away from the C-14 when done on the Muzzy system leading to the CF cans he built for the Connie.....no more high heat on your legs, cockpit temp. is much cooler and really makes the exhaust stand out from the rest.....

Absolutely. Keeping the heat in the exhaust helps with scavaging. I've seen the results first hand on the dyno.
That's the biggest benefit of titanium. It's a horrible conductor of heat. The light weight is just an added benefit

265.00 and the man who is doing the coating has a ZX14 too and can tell you first hand the benefit of the treatment.....
The coating application is a gift from a friend who had it done to his bike and knows the value of it..so while it is being acquired...may as well get some added benefits out of it...
Suggest interested parties view the Jet Hot Video on their site for more info, think you will be impressed with the added benefits.......major industries..NASA, US Army and drag racers making huge horsepower with their motors say they will not run without it on their exhausts...so must be some benefits there....

I'm sending my Akrapovic header to Cradin Industries in Borne Texas for ceramic coating. I would like to compare the result with Jet hot coat.

Jet hot has 3 main facilities throughout the USA, so they do hundreds of heat treatment on exhausts their video shows hundreds of headers hanging with the coatings and being sandblasted and processed...many colors of finishes are available.
I suggest you call Mike Biddle in NC.....336-270-5833, he is a ZX14 owner and has the inside dope on the treatment. Several top world class racers and drag racers really praise this coating on their exhaust systems......so these folks guarantee their work. Since this is a freebee for me am anxious to cover up all the welds on the Brock pipes and make it a consistent black finish like we did on the Muzzy system for sister's C-14 it looks great with the CF cans that Muzzy makes.

I dropped $250 to do this on the SMEG on my 08 14.
The only difference I saw was that my wallet was lighter .................

When you brush your teeth every day with toothpaste and spit it out into the sink, you don't see any difference either....so why do you do it?
When you change the oil in your car engine or motorcycle.....you don't see a difference either, so why do you do it? Your wallet is always lighter.....so why do it?
I rest my case and am only a kid. But you don't have to do it if you don't believe in it.......you are only limited to your imagination and your pocketbook.

I have some special magnets that attach to your fuel line that are claimed to get you 25% better gas mileage.
They are said to mollify the electrons in the fuel.
It just doesn't get any better than that.

Looks suspisciously like spam to me, and sounds like a paid pitchman.
BTW, if the US Army coats with ceramic, it is not for any performance benefit, it is in order to reduce heat signature.
BTW, I love my Brock's Alien Head Ceramic Coated exhaust. It gets hotter sitting in the El Paso sun than running hard for an hour. Less heat on the legs and no burning if your passenger touches it.

Heat reduction/suppression is the name of the game with this coating pure and simple....maybe a little increase in performance......Top Fuel racers making 7000 HP in their dragsters don't start their engines without it being on their headers...that is good enough for me!

I am sure that the insane heat coming off of a 7000HP engine would be justification for ceramic coating. But, I just got mine already coated for about the same price. Performance gains are unsubstantiated and should not even be mentioned. How much are you being paid to put this BS on this forum? OR, are you the owner and on this forum under false pretenses?

I went to Jet-Hot Friday after work. I got there too late(5:43pm). The lobby doors were locked and the receptionist was gone! I will try to get there earlier to talk with someone. I'll take pics with my cell next time.

I jet Hot coat all my drag car headers.. Why ? Because it's mild steel and it will rust in a very very short time ... These motors make anywhere from 750 hp to 900 hp and it is possible that it may make 2 or 3 HP because of the coating .. They seem to run a bit cooler also .. But only seeing 2 or 3 hp on a big HP motor means you will see less or none at all on a 200 HP motor like ours .. We are using stainless Or TI so it not likely to rust anytime soon ..I have a Jet hot coating shop just down the street from me and i can tell you they CAN not completely coat the inside of the pipe .. Outside yes , inside NO .. I would say if you want it for looks or to controll a bit of the heat on your motorcycle go for it , but if you are looking for extra HP forget about it ..
