Geico is the way to go!!!!!!!!!!

Several insurance companies gave me quotes...big names...when they got my VIN number for a new 2012 ZX14R......things began to happen......

We don't insure that bike..

It will have to go to our underwriters for evaluation...7-10 days for an anwer.

No medical insurance available for rider or passengers.

Or the cost was over 3000.00 per year for full coverage and 25,000.00 medical insurance for me in the event of me being hurt per year!!! And...I have my car and my C-14 with this same company!!

Crazy....

Geico came thru today will do....my C-14, Goldwing, and the new 2012 14R for 880.00 a year full coverage on all 3 bikes!

So you guys shopping for insurance that is affordable...check out Geico and then work from there...

I've run into this before. It's amazing how much less Geico can charge vs the other big name companies. Yes, I use Geico for everything.

It was originally for government employees only until they opened it up to everyone. But even if it is the government, you give all your money to them anyhow so why not get something back in return like cheap insurance???

Geico was way high on me as well. State farm was by far the cheapest in my area. Thanks for sharing your prices in your local area.

Just a thought, if they are insuring 3bikes, and one being brand new for &800 a year with full coverage, something isn't right.

Not true I could insure 3 bikes for under 800 a year full coverage from state farm. My zx 14 is 268 a year and my ninja 1000 is 247 a year. 14 being a 2010 and ninja 1000 being a 2011

i have geico for 3 years on my cars and my motorcycles and they have been very good to me.. for some reasons i had higher insurance rates with state farm which in most cases they rates are very good!! who knows why..
one thing you will like about geico is that the customer service is very good.. can u belive they actually belong to the goverment and good customer service!!! LOL

one thing else i like about geico is that they have not jacked around with my rates last few years like some of them start finding excuses to increase your rates!!

A buddy of mine had Geico on his VTX and they were super cheap the first year and then jacked up his rates the next year. He now has Riders insurance. Of course that's only available in certain states and the 14 is exempt from just about every single perk available. I personally have Geico and I haven't needed them yet, but my rates have not risen from my first to my second year. However I carry very basic insurance, I don't see the point in paying $1000 a year to insure a bike I paid less than $7000 for when I can pay $100 dollars a year and bank the rest. Realistically if I wreck my 14 bad enough to total it I probably wont need a bike anymore. If I drop it I'll just fix it myself.
