Set up advice for extensions

Hi all! First post by a newbie. I have a 2010 ZX14 and I just ordered extensions, chain ect. from All Things Chrome. Running Brocks SM with map from Brock. flies in (becuase i stripped a screw but will deal with that later) @#$%@.......lowered. No other engine mods. Need advice on how far to stretch. Will be mostly strip with a little street. Wheelbase recommondations and rear shock setting much appreciated. I'm 190#'s suited up.

Welcome to the forum!

I'm not one of the resident experts in these forums, but mine is extended 6 inches and I think it feels far superior to stock in terms of how you can just jump on it without worrying too much about front end lift. I'd also recommend gearing it down as a reasonably inexpensive mod, believe me, it makes a hell of a difference. All my riding is done on the street thus far and I don't have any issues with handling. The turning radius is kinda shitty, but it's worth it.

extend it all the way out, 16/48 gearing.

tighten compression rebound and preload as tight as they will go, then back off a 1/4 of a turn on all of them.

now send me a check for $400.

16/48, he's 190 suited, and going to be sitting at 66" max... I would recommend starting at 16/44 and going from there.

Imm 199lbs in boxers with same extensions stretched all the way back and I run 16/48. I'm happy with the gearing.
