Best OTD Pricing.....Check mine!
Just bought my new Green SE 2012 ZX14R, $14,650.00 OTD including all taxes, shipping, set up freight and prep...and the tag!!!!!
An hour before was quoted $16,300.00 and change plus the tag OTD, obviously there is some room for these dealers to deal if they really want to deal!
So when you get ready to buy...put out lots of feelers and don't settle when they tell you they "Can't" lower the price they first quote you.......
If anyone has been able to beat this price....would love to know...
Please advise...

Ok, so I should be able to go up 1% and get one out here in CA considering the tax difference. I was at the local Stealership last Saturday, talking about how I wanted a green one (so far I'd only seen the black in person), and they suddenly rolled out a spankin' new blue one that they had just finished assembling. I took it out in the sunlight and I gotta say, I was impressed. I think Smokin mentioned somewhere that pictures don't do tte blue one justice - he's right. It was beautiful...

I wish people would just give us the price they paid minus tax as that is a variable. I paid $13,800. no other fees. A little high but they gave me great trade in values for the two bikes I traded so I was OK with the $13,800.

My purchase was a straight out offer on the phone with NO trading,
Fees for shipping, set up, tax, tag, handling fees they go on endlessly, everyone gets a piece of your pie......but $13.800.00 seems just wonderful price.

Would some of you guys mind giving the names of the dealerships where you are getting such great deals? I know that I can't get one outside of CA, but giving my local dealer precise info on where they can be had for such bargains might help me get one at a decent price out here - or maybe not, but it sure as hell doesn't hurt to try! Thanks . . .

My buddy bought his green SE at Sunrise Honda Kawasaki in Searcy Arkansas two weeks ago for 13400 (in Arkansas we pay taxes at the revenue office) I am not sure if he had to pay a 129.00 doc fee but 13400 was the price of the bike.

Why can't you buy one elsewhere, Kawi will sell any dealer a CA model. Just make the best deal on a preorder and wait a few weeks, and buy it out of state.simple.

They can go LOW if they want too. Example: If you want a 2011 ZX10R, you can drive one out for 10k$ since they still have a few left over here in Dallas TX.

Just negotiated mine today. Got it for 13,200 + tax, title and plates. 14,097.51 out the door and on the road. They're receiving it next Tuesday and it should be ready for me to pick up Wednesday.
From McGrath Powersports in cedar rapids. Our local Kawi dealers wouldn't budge from MSRP. I guess that's why they still have brand new 2010 models on their showroom floor!

Thanks again for the intel, fellas. I've purchased a few bikes from my local dealer over the years so hopefully a checkbook in hand and a ready-to-buy attitude will get them well below the $16,300 nonsensical price tag....

I paid $1K under MSRP plus fees ($13,469 + 4% tax + shipping/license just under $15K OTD). I'm good with what I paid since mine is the only black 14R "Blackbird" on the Island so far... Just have to swap out those "AT4 Tank Buster" cans and I'm straight!

Kawasaki 250.00 Discount to Buy New Bike
At Daytona Bikeweek today, Kawasaki is offering an additional $250.00 Discount to customers who will buy a new bike in the next 30 days....they give you the paperwork at the tent......
So, now my OTD price is.....$14,400.00 OTD including the tag!
Am pretty happy with that pricing compared with other stores...

Just negotiated a deal over the phone with my local dealer. They only have the blue, and I told them ideally I had wanted to see the SE before buying but that I would give them $14k OTD for the blue one. They came back with $14,600 OTD, and I politely declined. A little later they called back and say that they can locate an SE and have it delivered to their shop so that I can see them side by side if I'll pay $14,600 for the blue one or $14,800 for the SE. I told them I'd think about it and call them back - an hour later, I offered $14,400 for the blue or $14,600 for the SE - they countered again but I stuck to my price and they accepted - I'm pretty excited! Now normally I would have tried to stick closer to the $14,000 OTD, but I did appreciate them finding an SE and having it delivered so that I could do a side by side before choosing. I still think it is a pretty smoking deal considering we have almost 8% sales tax.
