What a mess ...
This is what the guy did to our 1/8 track so no one could reopen it .. He took a Bull Dozer and ran over everything so it could not be used by the new owner .He even dug holes in the track and drove over the bathrooms .... The new owner is spending millons to open it back up as a NHRA 1000 foot track ... 1000 feet of new tack , 2000 feet of new walls and not gaurd rails .. 500k in seating .. and the list goes on ..

the ones in texas that host the nationals are all PITA when you run there.. nhra throws guide lines down and they follow them in order to not lose them national events.. can't remember the rule but i think it anything faster than 9.99 and 130mph .. got to have a nhra license or your ask to slow it down .. and if you don't comply your kick out ..

No he is not .. But what is going to do is run him out of town .. The guy that did this damage is part owner of our other track BMP .. He said everytime they ( BPM ) have a race he will have the same race the same day and pay 5 times more money ... This guy has the money to do it .. All the racers are really pissed at this guy for screwing up the track .. His car count at BMP is so low it's not even funny because of what he did to sunshine speedway .. This new owner is not playing ..

The new owner need to hire "Vinnie" and "Guido" to send a special Thank You to the guy that did this. It seems like the new owner was gong to redo everything anyhow but, still.....this act was not cool in any way.

Depending on how this new owner follows NHRA guidelines, you may need to get that license Lee. Mine is expiring next month and this time I need to do the track runs again and get signatures. Kind of hard to do when the track has holes in it. Maybe we'll see him at the track Thurday night so we can give him the bird! LOL
