machinist???

Hey guys! As some of you may be able to tell from reading questions I have post, I am thinking of getting engine work done.

I know there are plenty machinist out there and some better than others.
This is just a question for some opinions and may help other readers that are wondering the same thing.

Who do you trust working on your engine?
Who does really good machining?
Who is the guy to go to for tuning and is he the same person for maching?

If any of you can answer, please include names, phone numbers and location...please?

Thank you for you time and assistance!

do you want an machinist or a engine builder? I don't know of any builders that do nikasil replating plating in house.

for cylinder rebore and replating i've always used Millennium Technologies in Wisconsin. http://www.mt-llc.com/

You live in a great area for a builder.
1st pick would be Adams Performance in Greensboro, also if you wanted to stay even more local check out WIliford Racing http://www.willifordracing.com/index.html
