ok guys appreciate your input on what you are paying..please list the insurance company too with your yearly rates you are paying.....so we can all see who we need to support for insurance so we can drive this great bike....
848.00 is just great but I have full coverage and 25.000.00 on medical payments cause if I wreck the costs for injuries will be very high...so want to have some coverage to hopefully cover any injuries.....and repair of the bike if it is totaled.

848.00 is with 25k medical and 25k death benefit. My agent told me that most bike quotes don't come up with the death benefit option

My SF quote was $275/yr. full coverage, $100 ded. But I'm an old fart with a clean record.
There is exactly ONE advantage to gettin' old & this is it!

quote: be aware of some insurance companies give you lower rates but their policy is in case you need parts to fix your car or motorcycle in case of accidents, they do not replace them with OEM parts and use after market...
Even Better! lmfao who the hell wants OEM anyway?

quote: You don't have to have a vehicle insured with state farm to insure your bike. I have my bike alone with them and it's only $600 yr
eklipse636 is correct............I called my agent when I read his post and that policy has been changed. He did say you MIGHT not get the preffered rate with the bike only, so ask for both quotes............
I have been with State Farm for 20+ years and have been happy with thier rates and service........:}

We also have Progressive insurance. Went through the same crap when I got my first ZX-14 in 2010 as far as ridiculous price quote ($2500). Already had a 2008 C-14 insured with them (about $368 per year) as well as all of our cars at that time. They gave me some song & dance about how statistically the majority of claims on ZX-14s in the first seven months of ownership come back as 'totaled'. Had my broker 'splain it to them and they got a lot more reasonable, plus there was no problem when I added a second ZX-14 in 2011 plus a HD Sportster 1200. Recently, they tried to pull the same stunt with the new ZX-14r about a month ago (quoted $1984 per year), but I had the broker 'splain it to them again and...price came down to $638 per year with full coverage except personal medical, so I now pay about $1350 for C-14, two ZX-14s, a ZX-14r, and the Sportster 1200. I'm in my mid 50s, no accidents, but more than my share of speeding tickets over the years
