Nitrous and Oxygenated Fuel

How Big a Dry shot can you do before you have to start worrying about going from Pump 93 to a higher octane, Oxygenated fuel (Q16) etc?

I ran a 60 for a bit. But I didn't like it. Gas is cheap compared to a motor! Real cheap!!!

I was told by Jim from Competition CNC to run Q16 with nitrous with his SS head due to compression. I ran 91-93 octane on a 40 shot with stock head prior to this new SS head.

Depends how long you plan to hold the button. I did 50 shot and melted the head but I was spraying for a mile. If you can get a a/f gauge or a datalogger it will be safer. Mine ran lean but I never knew until it was to late. Currently, I have about a 70 shot with c16. Ran it at loring, texas, mojave and (knock on wood) no problems. Never let the A/F go above 12.0 while spraying.
