2012 ZX14R Brock CT megaphone or CT Single Full System
Just wondering which would deliver more power for the 200 MPH club / Bonneville. Just purchased a 2012 ZX14R and have a choice between the Brocks Single CT titanium full system or the Single CT megaphone which is much shorter. I have seen all of the videos with the short megaphones making loads of power and very quick 1/4 mile times, but no one has put on a standard size exhaust. I heard the CT Single is going to give better midrange and higher top end power but why aren't the racers using them. They all have the shorties.
Any real info out there.. The new 14 is a larger engine so maybe needs more air?????? thus a shorter pipe??????? less backpressure?????
Thanks!!

Read this , 2 or 3 times , explains , pipe sizing , collectors, lenghts, and pressure waves and their affects on POWER ??
