Oil for my '12 14R

I've used a lot of different oils in the past, e.g., Mobil 1 4T, Motul, Honda Pro, BMW. All full synthetic. I see Kawasaki markets their own branded full synthetic. I can't imagine it not being a good oil. Anyone use it or familiar with it?

Thanks.

I've used quite a few myself, as I'm sure most here have. Never noticed much difference for street riding, so I went w/the cheapest and easiest: Rotella T. I have no doubt the Kawi oil would serve you very well.

I used kawi oil before. I ran it in my 07 6r. Didnt have a problem. I have used repsol before that. I peronally liked kawi oil. Plus it has a green tint. Lol.

I've used reg kawi oil. One time during a routine oil change, it drained out like water, and it wasn't hot. Never will I ever use reg kawi oil again.

Just put in Asilan synthetic 10w-30 oil from Brock.Used a K&N filter. It seemed to shift better and the cam chain noise is gone.

Not sure if this is still the case, but I can remember a few years back reading the fine print on the back of Kawi synthetic and it said 'manufactured by Motul'. Not sure if its the same oil with the same additives, etc as Motul 300V.

I've used Motul now for 4 and a half riding seasons...with some other oils 'tried out' in between. The Motul is the best performer for my zx's that I've used. The 'useful' life seems to coincide nicely with the shift quality in my case. That is...at around 3000 miles or so,the shifting begins to degrade some...then I know it's time.Full syn,10/40 7100 Motul.

If it means anything...the service/owner's manuals do say "formulated especially for your new Kawasaki motorcycle"....works for me anyway.

Changed the factory oil at 85 miles...went to 10/40 Motul 7100 Full Syn....so far...so good....but only 400+ miles on her right now.It looks brand new in the sightglass.

I use 5w40 Castrol Power 1 racing full synthetic. Seems to work well.
