Nice job, Snuffy!

I picked up a HF lift last winter... gotta be the second best $300 I've ever spent.
Like most, I took one look @ the wheel clamp and threw it in the garbage... I just use my bike stands on it.

Hey Teddy
It has a saftey lock on the left side that is a piece of tubing and some welded pieces of round 1/2 in steel that will hold the lift up if the piston fails. Put Thanks for the advice its much apprieciated.

Thanks Dogo I dont have the knowledge that U have at taking my bike apart but I was sick of laying on the floor to do all the things I do know how to do.

I tried to make the lift out of aluminum to make it lighter than steel but the piston would bend the center support when it was but under load. So I comprimised and made the top out of diamond plate aluminum and the lifting legs and base out of steal.

Thanks
Snuffy
