A little faster :) Best ET 8.52 ................Best MPH 161 MPH Well i made it to the track .. Air was muggy , temps on the three runs posted below it was 77 Deg , 10 to 15 MPH head wind ... Not what i wanted for a record breaking pass but that is what i had to work with .. My first trip to the track where i ran my 8.55 @ 160 the air was much better and no damn head wind to deal with ..
Only change to the Bike was Dons reflashed ECU .. The ECU removed the top speed limiter , raised the RPM limiter 500 RPMs and added a few Degs of timing in the hole map .. I will have to ask Don just how much timing but from what i remember it's only like 2 Deg timing .. I install a 11,000 RPM chip in my Auto shifter ( i was using a 10800 chip ) . Brocks dyno showed a few HP gain with Dons reflash across the hole Rev range .. The bike ran great with the reflash , felt smoother and seem to Rev a little faster ... Shifting at 11000 felt good .. The bike didn't seem to nose over at 11000 ... I would have liked to try a 10900 chip just to make sure i did go to far at 11000 .. Everything else was the same , 89 pump gas , same air pressure in the tires Ect Ect .. Only difference was the air and the head winds and the reflashed ECU .. We had a bunch of Vmax guys there and they were off a 10th of a second and down 3 to 4 MPH from there last trip to the track , so i knew from what they told me i was going to be fighting for every MPH and 10th of a second to reset my old recored of 8.55 .. My guess is the reflashed ECU did it's job because i broke both my ET record and MPH record tonight ... I could not be happier , well i could be happier if the bike had gone a 8.49.99 ... It was just not going to happen ... After the first 3 passes the track went away , to many street cars just tore the track up and the track guys never cleaned it or resprayed VHT .. After i started spinning i just gave up and loaded up the bike .. I felt even with the bad air and head wind i just needed a few more runs and i would have busted into the 8.40s .. I hope we do get another cold front to come in and i'll give it another try to run a 8.40 on pump gas .. Here are the first 3 runs and i should have some Video soon from one of the Vmax guys ..
I was so close to the 8.49 pass i could taste it ...

Thanks guys .. I can tell you this for a fact ... If i had run my 2009 ZX14 tonight i would have been running in the low 8.80s , maybe slower than that .. This bike flat hauls the mail !! .

Lee what do you think of brock's 0wt oil and additive or would u run the 10-30 oil with additive?

I think you might end up being able to shift it a little higher than 11k, with some tuning:
We were able to pick up +3 hp by leaning it out a touch on top, as you can see. This bike breathes pretty well (stock filter!), and the Guhl ecu does it's job. I think you are just scratching the surface, and with tuning and MR12...wow!
Congrats on a new PB and on the new World Record for a 14R!!!

No plans right now for any dyno runs .. I can only guess what the weight might be ... I was round 140 141 last night in gear ..That is a guess because i didn't think to weigh myself before heading to the track .. I has in a mad rush just to get to the track.. I know my 09 and 06 zx14 was 505 with a gallon and a half of fuel ... Last night i had 2 gallons of fuel in the bike ..They say or it has been said the 2012 is 18 to 20 pounds heavier that the 09 zx14 .. Lets just say it's 15 pounds heavier and an extra 5 pound for the fuel .. So it's just a guess but i would say 525 + my 140 pounds = 665 ..
Doing the math at 665 using the MPH =.217 HP .. Using just the ET = 212 HP ..

Shane i do have a , 11,200 , 11,400 chip .. They don't make odd number chips after the 11,000 chips , so no 11.100 chip ... I can try a 11,200 next time out and see what it does ...
I guess my next move it to install the zx10 P/C and start working on a map .. I could use that extra 3 hp on top
