Better power adder

I'm kinda bored and just wondering what you guys think a better power adder would be, turbo or nitrous? I've ran both over 300hp I'm just wondering what you guys think?

Depends on what you need/want. Turbos are great if you need the power all the time.. strip, street, whatever. Can't beat bang for your buck when it comes to N2O tho.. if you only need a few seconds of power adding at a time... Nitrous is the ticket.

Why is ghat? Is it because grudge guys are afraid of turbos because it's so easy to make more power? I know when I had my turbo bike I couldn't find a race to save my life but on my nitrous bike was about .5 faster everyone and their mom would grab a lane

NOS bikes will not run run turbos at all! I think they are scared... I liked NOS but filling bottles and bottle pressure issues just sucked!

it is hard to get a race being a fast turbo grudge bike, but it's also tricky to get off a clean pass as a fast turbo grudge bike. instant throttle response is nice to have in grudge racing, and its hard to get with a turbo bike. even more so when people start playing staging games. you know damn well when a turbo bike is lit up and ready to move... slider nitrous bike its always a guess.

I disagree on all these blanket statements.

I've had a nitrous bike for years and I have raced against several Turbo Busas....and we're talking about long runs where bottle pressure becomes an issue. It depends on the situation. When a nitrous bike isn't running right they can still run. When a turbo bike isn't running right, its a complete turd. They are so boost dependent. If I wasn't spraying I could still run n/a....wouldn't be KILLER but the bike would at least get out of its own way.

One thing that happens when you spray though is that everyone begs to take off the bottle, that shit gets old really quick. You can't tell a turbo buy to take off the header.....can't tell a motor guy to throw in smaller pistsons....but everyone is so quick to tell the nos guy to yank the bottle. Double standard.

Turbo. Set it up right and you are done. Just my opinion after watching guys blow up their shit on nitrous, cook solenoids, low bottle pressure, etc...

Never ran nitrous, but have done turbo...again, just my opinion...

That being said, bang-for-buck, a small dry shot wins...and I will soon go that route on one of my bikes...

It puts down MEGA MPH as well. Isn't it something like 19x traps? Isn't he going like 7.9x I could be wrong on the times but I thought it was around that

I liked both, both did well for me, I just wish I could have bought a clutch for the turbo bike before I got rid of it. Just to see a good launch with that. I will say launching a turbo bike with a stock clutch is like playing Russian roulette. The bike comes out different every time some times it's easy and sometimes it will try to kill you lol

The nitrous was very predictable when riding a 40-60, once I started on the 100+ size jets it got kinda sketchy bottle pressure played a massive role in how the bike ran and how violent it was. But with the right ramp and gearing it was fast as hell. And pulled HARD.

I enjoyed riding both and they both made me go faster, at first I wasn't happy with the turbo bike and when I got rid of it I told myself I'd never own one again lol but hell 2 years later and I'm building another. It's just so much fun on the street!! Even tho IMO nitrous is better for street racing and that's what I like to do

There are a lot of turbos in this class running more mph but none of them are running quicker E/Ts.

E/T wins races.
