The buzz is growing on the new ZX14R
At the track last night i had 2 of the guys i race with ready to jump ship from their Zooks 1000s to a new ZX14R .. This guys are hard core zook owners but they are no dummys when it comes to speed .. One other racer runs a 1500 CC busa with a slider said after i busted his ass he also wants one ..  I can't count the number of riders that came up to me and have asked what i have done to the bike to go that fast .. When i tell them just a pipe , no P/C and run pump gas they look at me at with a crazy look and ask " how much spray you running " I say no spray , just motor ... The look on their faces is priceless ..
I ordered some wheel bearing for World Wide Bearing and talked to Dave .. He said he gets call daily from Busa owners that are making the switch to the new ZX14R .. I can't wait till the tracks up north open , it going to be crazy to see all these new ZX14R busting off crazy fast numbers ...Kawi hit the ball out of the park on this bike as well as the 2011 ZX10 ..

you are right on the money lee.i love the fact that the busa owners just have to eat shit.......mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm yummy.have some more

come to texas smokey ..theres some guys around here that will bust your ass on gixxer 1k. .i don't think they will down grade.. but wishful thinking on my part

We are picking one up soon! not for me but for one of my team mates but Im gonna be able to ride it!! :-) The new 14R is not a joke and the real racers know that and the losers can eat a fat one! Lol

yeah and there several of them around here that no zx14 beat yet .. maybe with a redlite or busted pass.. but not to the finish line on a good run ..

One of the guys at our now dead track, Lee mentioned was running 5.25's on his 1K.

My brothers GSXR went a 3.25 330ft last weekend.Not everybody is jumping ship.Us smaller guys like our little 400lb bikes

Funny how even the people ON THIS SITE were ragging on the new bike.Kawasaki has been my brand since the old H-1 in the late sixties were kicking everyones ass.They had the top 3 kings in 73.H-1 H-2 and the Z-1 that I had.Long live the King.

I'm not brand loyal. I'm in it for best bang for the buck. And that was the gen2 booza. I had one and sold it. I met my goals with it. I like the 14 as a better street bike. Not a better drag bike.. I now ride on the streets again so I have a zx14

LOL I wish he would have had my flat slick! . What a piece of junk, not much of a race when you're spinning so hard, it won't even shift into third gear. I'm not saying that we could run with his bike but if it was closer to Apples to Apples I think we would have a better chance. we have a street bike, I asked Houston for a race, the only requirements a stock gas tank, and a street type exhaust system, that is not a Sidewinder, and I didn't get any takers. about the two-step is legal now in real street, and pro-Street, because of the programmable ECUs most bikes come from the factory with a two-step, it's called a Reb limiter. see all at grudge fast.
