I think I remember someone on here saying a set of 47mm tb's would give a stock 14 around 8 hp's.

Sorry, I missed this thread before...
A zx14 with a pipe on it will pick up about 8 hp with our 47mm units.
Dan Millholland who is a regular board member here can elaborate more on his particular setup, but he got 8 hp and thats the average of what we are getting for feed back on similar combos.
On larger motors these gains are higher but its hard to say what exactly because the builds all vary. But some guys have seen over 18 hp. 13-16 hp is very typical.

I did pick up between 7 and 8 hp on back to back dyno pulls with tuning before & after but I do have a Coby Adams head on my bike.
I also run a Brocks CT, I feel like the good headwork and good pipe are a great combo for the 47's.
The bike made more power all the way thru with no loss down low. They idle and "carburete" just like the stockers.

if you are over 1500 cc go with the 48s. with a good head you should pick up 12 to 16 hp.

Them East coast dyno's are very generous!! I picked up 1HP with the 47's. Ported head, milled for compression, sidewinder, MR12. But I will say I picked up MPH and thats all that matters to me.
