Longest ride?
What's the longest ride you guys have ever takin and what the most miles logged in a day for you guys. ZX14s ONLY no damn wings or C14s lol

My buddy and I left Evanston Wyoming and got shut out on hotel rooms. We ended up home, in Phoenix Az, just shy of 900 miles in one day, all two lane. I was on my BMW RS1100 and Tommy was on his '06 ZX14. We were beat.

...did about 5200 miles in 7 days on my old '06 ZX-10R (my brother was on a '07 6R)..... but we stopped for about 2 days total in Indianapolis & Ft. Bragg.

put just over 10k miles on my 14 last year from when i first got it in march till up until i left on deployment late july

Me & a buddy rode to Miami in 09 I had just broken in my 14, we had to get there the next day to sign for a house we were renting for our bike group, over 1,300 miles in around 26hrs as soon as we entered Florida we hit a bad ass thunder storm I don't know how we made it, it was pouring to the point I had to rely on the lighting strikes to see the road... I was wet for 10hrs my hands were black from the dye of my brand new joe rocket gloves & I was numb from the waist down for a hole day! Lol looking back at it it was very reckless but it was a hell of a ride! Killeen TX to Miami FL on a brand new 09 ZX14

Miami for lunch....
550 miles on a 14 in one day though I do also have a 900 mile day on a different bike as my max effort. Woke up to a postcard morning. Gassed up the bike and zapped down to Miami for lunch. Had lunch by Biscayne Bay, gassed up in Fort Lauderdale and zapped back home. Return ride was all in the rain. Still fun though. Have much longer rides planned (NM and NY) for 14R once I have it later this year.
Road trips are where these bikes just....roll.

In 2006 I Plugged 5000 miles on my ZX-14 in May of 2006, ROK wrote about. In July of 2006 I did a trip from Orlando to Lincoln, Nebraska, returning to Orlando via Ohio then Pa, Washington DC then home. My goal was 10,000 miles by Aug 1 and I did it.
In my opinion the 14 is the best sport bike to tour on bar none. The VFR is a great bike but the ZX-14 is just a notch above. Smooth powerful and she never let me down, ok maybe that fuel warning is a bit of PITA specially at night (RED LAMP) but I can live with it, bright lamps made up for it.

771 miles on the 14 last year on the way to Sturgis 792 the year before in around 18hrs

On my 06 14 there are guys that meet at the waffle house in tuscaloosa AL. early Sat. mornings and go to deals gap and back in one day, about a 500 + round trip ride. I only did it once. Back in the spring of 1980, me and two buddys decided we were leaving the backwoods of Alabama and heded out to start a new life in California. So we rode anywhere from 8 to 10 hours a day. I was on a Honda CB750 supersport my two friends were on a 1977 KZ1000 and a 19?? CM400 Honda. The friend with the little Honda had an aunt that was going to let us stay with her until we got jobs. It was in San DIego. We had saved up some money. The dream lasted 2 months. California is where I discovered the real meaning of "Cost of living" My Mom wired me some money to get back home with. Mayonaise sandwichs don't support life very good. We all made it back home and never had one piece of trouble out of any of the bikes the entire time we were gone.

most my riding is on sunday.. nice weather and i am riding all day on twisti roads from early morning to late afternoon.. the longest miles about 350 miles.. only stop to eat, or coffee or take a leak!!

Went from Raleigh, NC to Birmingham, AL for a trackday in about 9 hours including food & gas breaks. Rode back home 2 days later. 600 miles each way, 1200 for the weekend.

i've done Raton NM and Silver City NM several times over the years in a day on a zx14.. did 5000 miles in 6 days once too..

465 miles on the 14, 605 miles on my old 01'XX.
My body just doesn't like those long rides anymore.
