zx14r otd price?
Stopped at the dealer today to see the green se zx14r. What a beautiful bike bad to the bone! So talking to the sales guy he said 15,999 out the door. He said 6,500 for my 2008 trade in? So everybody with a 2012 what did you get it for? And do you think that price is fair both otd and trade in?

Depends on your mileage and condition as far as trade in goes. I bought a black one for 13,615 out the door
(included Tax, Tags, title, prep... )

if you have time your best result is to sell your bike yourself.. put a ad on craigslist.. when is sold shop around for best price...
15999 d.o. is high since you pay less tax because of trade..
i never trade with dealers.. always sell it myself with reasonable price which always alot more than what the wholesale value they give you!!

Wow seno great price 13,615. What state do you live in? Ya I thought 15,999 was steep! My 2008 is in mint condition newer tires leo vince slip-ons kawasaki gel seat and 4,800 miles on it.

WOW thats outragous.I have to wait 18 months till I pay off my car.Remember when Shane posted that business card from Cycle World in NJ.I believe his name was John.I printed that card and will mention Shane from Bikeland to ask for a discount.Can't hurt.I live 300 miles from there,nice ride.I get on the Pa turnpike in Pittsburgh and get off somewhere around Philly.I was out riding my Ninja the last too days and it was wheeling in second.I can't imagine the new one.I only have 5800 miles on mine.My local dealer wants $14,789 for the blue one.I want the green one.

No matter what you pay OTD, it's cheap at twice the price. 30K for a Harley Destroyer? Buyer's remorse doesn't apply to the 14R. The 14R is my 47th motorcycle, the 07 was my 43rd. Two used Gold Wings and a scooter in between. Use the scooter much more than the Wings, they are just too heavy, bulky, and need a reverse gear. The new 14 handles like a liter bike, almost, but can be ridden for hundreds of miles in comfort. The Gold Wings tire me after a while fighting the wind gusts and the upright position.

LI Kawasaki Hicksville, NY 11801 (516)935-6969 ask for Mack or Zeus. My original deal was $500 more but I found a lower price & went back to beat him up, he bitched a bit but eventually gave in! Keep in mind I did trade my bike in so I saved paying the tax on first $7500 (that was my trade in value on a mint 07 with many aftermarket parts and low mileage).

13,600 OTD with 4yr extended warranty(Blue) up at Romney Cycles in WV. With out the warranty their OTD price is $13050 and you take care of your own tax and title. I did find a green one here in va and they were willing to let it go with the 4 year warranty for $13700.
Romney has the best prices on these hands down.

I bought my R1 from Long Island Kawasaki. You would think that they would try and earn your business instead of bitching about price. Zeus talks alot of shit but yet if you call him out, he eventually folds... Mack is usually the salesman that I deal with but Zeus always chimes in....lol. I have bought three bikes from them in the past and my friends have purchased numerous bikes from them as well. I had to shop their prices and ended up finding better deals all around. At the end of the year, I am going to see about picking up a green 14. I wonder what type of shit they are going to kick to me..smdh

People are in business to make money and I do respect that. If the consumer will not educate himself and do the leg work required to get a better price then why should the retailer?

I have the cash to buy the bike right now!...military ... but, I am hoping I can find a better deal than MSRP out here in elpaso Texas...NY is tooo far for me..

La marque , tx ( south of Houston) sells them for 13399.00 .... Mainland cycles..
