do the plugs after you do the block off plates, more space to work then.

with average size hands and a 3/8 swivel adapter it really isnt too bad. Now with that being said im going by my experience on my '07 that doesnt have the emission control stuff. I am looking at my '12 which came with the emission stuff on it so not looking forward to changing those out.

also i dont know if or how this effects the bike but according to the service manual it states that the connectors have to be place directly about some marks that are on the valve cover.

When you go to pull the sparkplug boot off the plug twist it as you try to pull it up and when reinstalling the plug boot put some grease on the outside of the plug boot and that will help you push it on to the spark plug keep dirt out and make it easier on you the next plug change!!! Good luck and take your time!

Mine is an '08 as well and it doesn't throw any codes, but Shane said that he did notice that is was a bit smoother at low rpm with it connected. Ivan's Performance has a plug that is suppose to fix it but I haven't tried it.

I must be getting lazy. I'd rather drag my nuts over broken glass than to put on block offs AND change plugs! ride that thing
