So has anyone called dynojet to reserve a PCV for their 14R?

posted January 13, 2012 01:26 PM We did look at one when the press intro was here in Vegas. Needs new harness to use the subconnector off of the throttle bodies. We also had one in yesterday to confirm some things. Harnesses normally take around 4 weeks to get. You can use 17-028 on it but we don't have maps for the 14 yet. Stay tuned!

I personally will wait until Brock's gets them and give him the business. If you have a Brock's exhaust installed you can get it preloaded with the correct map also at no additional charge and Bikeland members get a discount. If you go through Dynojet you will pay full retail price until the ZX15 is released.

there are others that need them now, like Smokin and me, there are 2 ZX-14r's at the drag strip testing every weekend, no one else in the Nation is doing this but us, or if they are they are keeping quiet, we need them now.

Not sure what Brock's prices are with the discount, but fuel moto usually has good prices.

If you buy from Brock's, you get his map support too.

I believe you only get map support if you have one of his exhausts, but dont hold me to that.
"Brock’s Performance Street or Track mapping is available pre-installed to match any Brock’s Performance exhaust system (exhaust purchase verification required)."

You don't have to buy a pc from him to get his map support, you just have to buy an exhaust from him or be able to prove the used exhaust you bought came from him. Either way you can still get the maps.

If the exhaust is a brocks exhaust, there's a good chance it came from him.

why reserve one when the model for the zx14 is already ready for delivery, You can get them on ebay and other places for around 280 bucks. The unit for the 2011 zx10 is the same unit for the zx14 with different maps loaded.....

I think cost on those units is around 250.00, I have seen Pc5 with autotune for 510.00 buck. All prices are new.

As to the map support, I know that Brock provides the map support for only the exhaust, unless he has changed the way he is doing business.

The ZX10 unit does maps, not timing. So if you get the ZX10 unit, you are not getting all the performance you could.

For the ZX10 they have the following (Only some features work on 2012 ZX14):
NEW Power Commander V w/ Built in Ignition Control

On select models, gain control over fuel delivery AND timing with the new Power Commander V with fuel and ignition control. The best of both worlds, now you can realize all the benefits of the Power Commander V and the Ignition Module 5 wrapped in a single enclosure.

•Retains all of the standard Power Commander V fuel control features
•Allows +/- 20 degrees of timing adjustment
•Map Switch Input – change maps on the fly
•Adjust timing per cylinder
•Raise your Rev Limit (only available on select models)
•Built In Launch Limiter
