Holy Crap Lee, I can't wait to see it. If you want easy videos of your runs, just make sure the guy in the lane next to you has a camera on his bike. If it faces to the front, you'll be in it.

Wee i have seen you ride , you got skills man .. You get some more seat time and you are going to be running much faster than you did on your old zx14s ...
I'm sure mapped and a few other adjustments in good air i can get some 8.40s out of the bike on pump gas ...

Smokin Why would you not try to run the 7.99 yourself? you have the skills. Put light weight battery in it, remove mirrors, rear pegs, lower subframe bars and a few other little items tune it with a 40 shot and I bet your there in good air.
Bently you know me pretty well , you know i hate spray and i hate built motors .. Cars are a hole different story but on bikes i like the motors to be stock.. The thrill for me is to get every bit of ET and MPH out of a stock motor on pump gas .. Once i get everything i can then i may try a 30 dry shot like i did on my 06 zx14 just to see what happens .. We have just touched on what this bike can do , there is more to be had with just tunning and bolts ons .. Myself and others will find out what works and what doesn't , Then it will be easy for others ZX14R owners to copy .. For me that is the fun part ..

I seen a 14 a few years back go 5.69 in the 1/8 @124 mph with a stroker kit...pretty sure it was bigger than the 14R and probably had alot of tuning...Looks like Kawasaki did their homework with this one!!! Nice work Smokin!

Thats a whole other topic. Some people can't ride. There are a LOT of guys here that have stock motors going 5.6's
I also know a guy with a turbo that runs in the 6.0 class...

Probably right about the non riding skills. He had an aftermarket swingarm on it with a Muzzy sidewinder, no baffle. Engine sounded great, but bogged of the line when he launched (best I remember)
