Not thread jacking either but can 1bad beat Lee right now, with a turbo I heard 1bad was a big boy. 1bad can't you just say nice job, you kind of say it with sarcasm attached kind of unnecessary isn't it.

Lee that is unbelievable, that is, I didn't think the bike would do it! when wee posted his numbers I recalculated his weight for a 150 pound rider, the number I got was 5.46 et, I didn't post that because I didn't think it would do it. I calculated your back half horsepower was 222hp with ram air@ 680 pounds with bike and rider, that is the bike would be 530 pounds, and 150 for rider. congratulations you just sold another hundred 14's for Kawasaki. LOL.

Shane i was down 16 pounds but i'm feeling better so eating more .. Now i'm down only 7 pounds , so i put back on 9 pounds .. When i was racing my gen 1 bikes i would range from mid 146 to as much as 150 pounds with gear ... So my best guess is 140 to 142 geared up .. Last night i had my heavy Jacket on along with long johns and a extra pair of shocks in case i got cold .. Well it didn't get that cold last night so i could have skipped the extra stuff .. On my Gen 1s i allways ran a gallon and a half of fuel and last night i had just over a half a tank of fuel ( 3 1/2 ? gallons i guess ) So about 10 extra pounds of fuel in the bike i didn't need .. I have never weighed the new bike so i can only go by what has been said the it is around 18 pounds more than the Gen 1 ... my old bike was 505 with a gallon and a half , so lets say the new bike 520 and and extra 10 for the extra fuel i was hauling .. 530 pounds .. Lets just say an even number for my weight of 140 pounds we end up at 670 pounds , give or take a few pounds.. My Gen 1 would be at 645 give or take a few pounds .. So most likely a 25 pound difference ... Not really that much difference in weight but could have cost me a little ET and MPH ...

Lee, how much are you weighing since you've been sick compared to your weight when you were riding your old 14?

Most of you guys have seen my videos and know i don't put my feet back on the pegs .. I drag my legs .. I know this cost me MPH and i have been told this over and over by the pros ...I have tried and tested it , and i have put my feet on the pegs and did pick up MPH . I didn't put my feet on the pegs last night ... It's just my way of riding the bike ... Old habits are hard to break ..
Thanks guy for all the kind words , it means a lot to me ... The last year has been hell for me with my shoulders locking up , good news they are working like new again.. And since my Surgery and my Dr getting me on the right meds i'm feeling much better ..Not a 100% yet but getting better a little bit better everyday .. ( knock on wood ) .
I'm just very happy to be back on a bike and drag racing again .. For a while i was thinking that part of my life had come to an end .. That's tuff to take after racing for so many years just to give up what i love to do..
I know for a fact this bike with no changes from last night will go faster .. I made some mistakes on each of my passes and didn't get what i would call a really clean run .. I just need some more seat time to iron out a few things with my riding ..

I'm about 7 pounds lighter right now .. A few weeks ago i was down 16 pounds !!!!! I should have that 7 pounds back on in a few more weeks , i hope ..

Smokin Why would you not try to run the 7.99 yourself? you have the skills. Put light weight battery in it, remove mirrors, rear pegs, lower subframe bars and a few other little items tune it with a 40 shot and I bet your there in good air.
