Smokin goes 8.55 @ 160 on his new ZX14R ..
The set up...
66 inch wheel base.
Half a tank of 89 pump gas.
Stock air filter in place ..
NO P/C , NO tune ..
16/43 gears.
008 Shinko .
Stock clutch , no shims or stffer springs ..
Air air shifted at 10800
No BST wheels . No trick MR12 fuel ... No Zero weight oil .No ceramic wheel bearings. Just Brocks Alien Head 2 for the 2012 ZX14R ..
Air was good , Temps in the 60s .. NO tail wind , infact the flags over the track were dead still .. The runs you see below were early before the track went away and started spinning ..
This bike is going to run 8.40s on pump gas with a good map .. I think i could have run a high 8.40 tonight had i hit a 1.31 or 1.32 60 foot time ... I was getting faster very pass till the track went away .. Johnny Turbo was there and he said the bike sounds as if i was being sprayed all the down the track ..He said the bike was sick asses fast ..
Just think what this bike tuned for MR12 with BST, ceramic wheel bearings and some of the extra pounds removed will run ... AS brock would say " Stupid Fast "

Check out that 5.46 in the 1/8 mile !!!!!!! This bike back halfs like it's on fire .. 30+ mph back half ...

There you have it guys .. My 09 went 8.76 @ 154 in good air with a tail wind and the new bike ran 8.55 @ 160 in good air and NO tail wind .. Over TWO Tenths faster and 6 more MPH that my Gen 1 zx14 ..
In fact my 06 with a 30 shot didn't run that fast ...

Looks about as fast as Brock's BMW. 8.40@161...Very fast..

Roy i'm not sure .. I just took a guess on mine and tried the 16/43 ... Your makes more TQ than mine so you should not need to go as low as mine .. Just guessing here ..

madnessracing if you had this bike and trimmed the weight off like your bike you would be going crazy fast !!!! You are allready crazy fast and you would be even faster ..

Good job, like the other member said, you were sure Rg was pulling your leg....lol
I wish I could have been there to see the runs. Did you record any passes?
I am sure that bike will run 8:2ish all fully prepped, BST, Tuned, Shock and Good gas

Wish i did get it on video .. Teddy didn't go with me ,so i had no one to film it .. Johnny turbo saw it ,maybe one of his crew got it on film .. i will have to ask him ..
