new 14R and Dyno Run

Well today was the day, headed up to Romney Cycles to pick up my 14R then headed down to HTP performance in Richmond. The bike has bout 35 miles and on Cecils dyno the bike put out 209hp and 130ftlb SAE at 41 degrees. Needless to say very pleased with the numbers...pictures soon to come

Just goes to show you that not all dyno's read the same. It reads a lot higher than a Dynojet dyno.

Santana congrats on your ride but if I was you I wouldn't put too much faith in that number. It's in the same range as everybody else I'm sure which is still awesome, I would say realistically your in the mid ti high 190's. But you still have a beast of a bike I'm sure.

@Tom, I'm not and Yea I'm sure I am. Main reason I wanted to take it on the dyno was to do a quick break in of the motor and on top of that he hooked me up with a great deal. When asked if they were sae numbers he replied yes but looking at the sheet and no where on there does it specify. Anyways I got what I wanted and that was to break the engine in, one of these days if I feel up to it I might go ahead and take it to one of the local dynojet dynos around here.

Not everyone has roads nearby where you can take it to redline over and over without going to jail ................

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Congrats on the purchase.... not many are able to buy a new bike with jobs on the brink n all.... I am glad that you posted...Cecil is a great person to deal with, and he helps out any person that calls his shop. His dyno just reads high numbers; trick is stay with him, and see the differences various mods make.... the % gain is the % gain.
