I have one. It's revalved, I need a heavier spring even though he said I didnt need one.
It works, fast turn around time. Took almost 2 weeks, but most of that was shipping from ga to cali

I have one, I averaged mid 1.3s at 66". I need to stiffen the spring a bit because I am still scrubbing, once I get some more time to mess with it, I think I will see some low 1.3's at my current length. But I am wanting to go a bit longer.

I've had the reworked BMC rear shock on my bike for about 3k miles. I think it's a great deal. Even at 67" doubled up It won't blow threw the stroke over bumpes or hard launches. Tons of adjustment and he adds a valve to adjust the gas pressure. Im also using a spring tech spring that's one step stiffer than stock.

The 695.00 is retail, even from them... same price There is another shock that everyone is using... JTR or JRT somehing like that... I have seen more of these at the track incomparison to the Penske.
Not saying which is better, just more of them. Litz has a good product, but you have to hit Colby. He rely on Colby to tell him the spring size. It takes a little longer to get your shock back. Also you have GRD in Atlanta and Fl that revalves shocks. They are around the same cost as a Litz, but faster turn around.
I also have a BMC, cost is cheaper, but my short time didn't change. I think the spring it too strong. I have a busa shock on my 61 inch WB zx10. It rides rough and my short time didn't get any better. I think that's because the spring it too strong.

The JRI shock is made by a few engineers who use to work at Penske and went into business for themselves, they made changes to the design that Penske didn't want to spend the money on implementing therefore taking their shock to the next level of performance and technology.

Yep. That is why I aint buying the JRI. Just dont wanna spend that much.
Could have had the stock one revalved again for the current wheelbase for $200 but I think I am gonna buy the Penske. I am usually a tightwad bastard but I will let go of the money this time for something I should have bought 2 yrs ago.

Got the Penske 8975 in yesterday. Had to dial in a lot of preload to get the recommended sag for the spring, 12-24mm. I settled for 24mm. It had over 2 inches. Preload is way easier to adjust than stock shock.
I noticed that playing around with the rebound settings that it still has 20+ clicks of adjustment to slow the shock down more. Mind you, this was after setting the shock the same as my revalve and then seeing how much adjustment was left. The compression screw would be a total b*tch to get to, if even possible, if this shock was on a stock arm. Its not too easy but can be adjusted with the Adams arm. The screws are 5/32 allen heads.
The shock came with a dyno sheet too. Not sure how to read it yet. Will try to test it in the next week or so to see what it helps or hurts. Will give feedback the best I can.
Just trying to dial out the wheelie problems I have been plagued with lately.

I like the Penske shock so far. Have not picked up any numbers to speak of but definately getting better first half traction. Responds to minute adjustments of the rebound and compression unlike my revalve. I lost lots of 60ft with it at first because of the forward energy I had before was now driving the bike to squat down. The clutch has now gotta be tuned for the shock. Bike still wheelies but not so high and fast and I think that is about to be eliminated with a static change today.
