He's already been as fast as he ran on his other bikes! Weather is looking really bad. Don't think it will blow over in time. Knowing Lee, I'd expect to see some 1/4 mile times after tomorrow night.

I know that when I ran a 5.59 in the 1/8 it was an 8.74 in the 1/4. This bike has more power, so it really should run faster than that, but like you said, it is already as quick or quicker than the old bikes and his 60' was off. I can't wait to see how this thing does with the other problems sorted out and with a little extra wheelbase.
*Edit* By should run faster, I was thinking the back half number should be quicker than what it was on my bike.

It rained here all night and this morning. I haven't looked at the weather but it must be moving talks way

I have a feeling that his next track outing is gonna best his green bike. I was just wondering what the red bike ran on the 30shot.

Rained out !!! This Sat they have test and tune at Sunshine Speedway 10:am to 2:00 PM .. So that looks to be the next window for testing ..

If i remember right the red bike at our 1/8 mile track on a 30 shot went Mid to High 5.50 @ 128 to 129 at around 67 inch wheel base .. I hate to give out hard numbers because that was a long long time ago , but those numbers are pretty close ..
The green bike at 68 inches , in GREAT air at the same track went a 5.59 @ 124 .. I know the 5.59 ET is right but i may be off on that MPH .That was with my 60 footers in the low low 1.30s .... I don't think i have the tickets anymore ..
My blue 20012 ZX14R went 5.59 @ 127.51 with a slow 1.41 60 foot with a DA around 800 feet , 69 Deg temp and 86 humdity .. And that was my first try on this bike with 64 inch wheel base and had every darn problem you could have had at one time .. EFI flashing ECU tossing codes .. Wrong gearing .. 4 passes total with two missed shifts .. One pass with a 10600 shift chip and one with a 10800 shift chip .. I was just happy it ran as fast as it did with all the problems i was having ..
This new ZX14R will run low 5.50s Maybe even dip into the high 5.40s .. Remeber this bike has NO tune , NO P/C , Stock air filter in place !!!! ..And i have no seat time on this bike ..I haven't rode a bike in way over a half a year... Wee and myself are just getting to learn what this bike wants ... Wee and Myself had 1000s of passes on are old ZX14s , in my case closer to 5000 passes between my 06 and 09 ZX14 .. Once we get the set ups right and some seat time this bike is going to fly ..

Lee,
If you are going to hit test/tune during the day how about BMP, this way you get to see the back half and it's a better track.
