New ZX 14-R
Just took it in for it's break in service. Loving this bike. I traded my 2011 Connie for it. Kept the BMW K1600GT for my Sport Luxury Touring ride,

Great pics! I bought the first year ZX-14 in 2006 and it has been the best bike I ever owned. I'm sure the new 14R will prove to be a great ride as well!

Leo-good choice on the color  I first saw the metallic green prominently displayed at the dealer then a black one kind of tucked in the middle of other bikes. I liked the black but had a black C-14 and was ready for something different. I bought the only blue ZX they had in the DFW warehouse, (or so I was told), sight unseen and was pretty knocked out by the looks of it. I think I would have chosen this color even if my favorite color in bikes, silver, was available.
Santana-haven't decided actually. First thought was full exhaust with PC and tune, but after 625 miles of very smooth stealthy riding I think I'm just gonna ride it for a while with the stock potatoe launchers, and after that probably only do Yoshimura or Akro slip on's.
Oh yeah-prob the first thing I am going to do is a fender eliminator.
One of the great things about this bike is the newer tuned suspension. It has very nice pliant ride and soaks up bumps and road irregularities in an outstanding fashion, but is firmed up enough to handle very well in the twisties. In fact I'm very surprised how well this bike handles. It's not just a drag bike You guys already know that though I'm sure.

Congrats! I miss my zx14! I totally regret selling mine. One day, I'm going to get the new one. Congrats on your new 14r. I'm sure you will enjoy it for years to come.

Conrats on the 14r and welcome to the forum.
I bought my ZX14 a bit over a year ago and have found this place the people here to be oozing with valuable info. Even if you never want to drag race this bike, the knowledge that these guys possess is very useful.
