1/8 mile gearing ????
running stock now , chain and sprockets r n bad shape, getn ready order
16/43 is what im thinkn????????? still foot shifting , best 1.520s 6.210s , +6 lowered and strapd
stock is either banging 2nd or shift to right before finish line,
i want to either run 3rd or 4th gear 10,500rpm or so at finish line 1/8

16 x 43 = in 3rd = 6.40 overall gear = ...119.50... mph @ 10,500
16 x 43 = in 4th = 5.52 overall gear = ...138.45... mph @ 10,500
16 x 42 = in 3rd = 6.25 gear = ....127...mph @ 10,500
16 x 41 = in 3rd = 6.10 gear = ....125 ...mph @ 10,500...
16 x 46 = in 4th = 5.90 gear = ...129...mph @ 10,500

I wouldn't worry about what gear I crossed the finish line in as much as what gearing helps my 60/330' the most.

I'm biast to more gearing. We run 16/48 but were at 68". 16/43 would get you in the right direction, but my preference at 6" over would be 16/45
(gearing for the 1/8 would be the same gearing for the 1/4)
