Because i weigh so much less than you i float the tire in third !!!! Crazy shit ... Fun but crazy ..
yeah I know rub it in... hehe, it took me almost a year to run 6.19 on my Gen I at swb, the 14r is going to turn some heads !!!
wee
Wee think about this .. at 220 pounds running 122 in the 1/8 you are going to run 151 to 152 in the 1/4 mile stock wheel base ..That is hauling ass , no pun intended ..

You are riding the wheels off that thing. I had my 14R at the track yesterday, set up like it came from the dealership, the best I could get was a 10.17 @ 144mph. These bike are hard to ride swb. The next time out it will be lowered and after that it will be Brocked out.

Make damn sure you change the rear gear to a 41 tooth from the factory 42 .. Trust me it really helps ..

Not bad .................... for an "average rider"
____________
You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

I put my 14R on the scales at our track yesterday. With three bars showing on the fuel gauge and everything the way it came from the dealership, it was 560lbs. My 07, with Carrozzeria wheels, Brock smeg, airshifter, swingarm extensions ect. was at 505ibs with one bar of fuel showing. I forgot, I do have my streering damper off my 07 and onto my 2012.

So 560 stock with maybe 3 gallons of fuel or 21 pounds or fuel .. Take off 30 to 31 for adding a Brocks pipe , take another 10 for fuel .. So the bike would weigh about 520 with a gallon and a half of fuel .. Toss the mirrors and rear pegs, tool kit and box and few things like reflectors and rear mud flap , maybe 10 more pounds of waste and end up with 510 pounds race weight .. My Gen1 race ready with a gallon and half of fuel was 505 .. So much for the new ZX14R being heavier that the Gen 1 .. Lets not forget the wheels are 3 pounds lighter than the gen 1 ... So the gen 2 is weighs pretty much the same as a gen 1 ... So much for this bike being a pig ..

If you're just going to drag race it why not take the extra fan off? Don't think it would be needed.

Speaking of the new bike anybody with one checked the difference in the ram air I believe it was revised. The air filter is different bigger what about the duct design.

Drop nearly 10 lbs more like I did switching to a Shoria lithium battery- don't waste money on a balistic.

Back in the day , we would weigh our bikes on 2 bathroom scales , 1 under each wheel and add totals together, very accurate .,

no its not 6.34 was done a Barona tell him Dakota and that was without a air shifter lowered or strapped. The new 14 was not deigned to race at stock lenth. It is too powerful for that.
