Brocks AH parts

Lets just say hypothetically that somebody last night 12 o'clocks a 10 over zx14 and slams it back down and finds they have crushed a header tube. Can they buy just part of the system?

I have had this happen before, and I fixed mine. I used a 18 each half inch extension, and put a smaller socket then the tube on the end of it backwards stick it up in the big end of the collector up into the the tube that is is smashed and beat it out. be careful not to get the socket stuck in the tube. It may not look as good as new, but it works as good as new. You will have to pull the head pipe off.

Good to know. Mine is a little flat. I assume a 1 inch wooden dowel with the end rounded is what you used?

It was steel, but rounded of course. I made three different ones and had them clamped into three seperate vices. Pretty glad it turned out like it did because those head pipes are $279 per half.
