Poor Boy's Dyno

TO kill some time on these cold winter nights .This will work any size NA engine, just got to have cubic inchs and rpm .Real simple, pretty close too.

14R = 1441cc = 87.92"

All CFM # @ 10*.

PAN: > Potential Air flow Needed > (Rpm / 1000) x (CID /2) = Total CFM @ 10* water / 4= cfm per cyl

HP = CFM @ 10* x .43

PAN=
(10,300 / 1000)= 10.3--- (87.92" / 2)= 43.96" x 10.3= 452.79 cfm / 4= 113.20cfm
113.20 cfm x .43= 48.67 hp x 4 =

194.69 HP @ 10,300rpm

10,600= 10.6 x 43.96"= 465.98 cfm / 4= 116.49 cfm x .43= 50.09 hp x 4=

200.38hp @ 10,600

10,800= 10.8 x 43.98"= 474.77 cfm / 4=118.69 cfm x .43= 51.03 hp x 4=

204 hp @ 10,800

11,000= 11 x 43.96"= 483.56 cfm / 4= 120.89 cfm x .43= 51.98 hp x 4=

Anything you can do to improve AIR FLOW through a engine will raise HP, more Oxygen ,more fuel, more POWER.
