cruiserman_83 - I am sorry but I honestly do not remember and exhaust is packed up and buried at my shop. If it was accessible I would look, but it's away until its going back on the bike and that will be no time soon.... Sorry
Vince, KTRC was a PAIN in the ass even with it turned off (Wheelie also had issues). Ok so first pass going easy warming up to operating temp... Rolling it on up to the limiter, then all of a sudden ALL the warning lights on the tach lit up (F and Oil), in addition the KTRC indicator was displaying "???????????????????" across the bottom and main screen said Error Code 27 which is front wheel sensor. Had to shut the bike down, made a few calls but got no pertinent information. Turned key back on all codes were clear, for now... Basically after every run when it was rolling down between 5-6K the lights would light up and KTRC would go back to ????? and error code 27... It was a project, and made a 30 minute job into almost 2 hours. BTW- I tried to do a pull on KTRC 1 and we had a good laugh, bike REALLY didn't like that -)
BD- Technology is amazing and it's scary, Kawasaki raised the bar very high for 2012! As far as tuners go, it is just amazing how much work it took to get to 200 before and now with a pipe and tune we will be at the 210 range. What really scares me is all the regular guys who are going to buy this bike and don't respect how much power it really has.

Damn 5 dyno pulls on mine and no codes popped up .. I did shut the bike down after every pull and had to reset the TC back to off ... But no EFI light or any other light came on ... strange ..

Thanks Seno. Got Kawasaki Australia to confirm that factory one is 12mm x 1.5mm thread. CT single is 18 x 1.5mm. Just sent an email to Bosch to see if they can match a universal o2 sensor with 18mm X 1.5mm so that I can splice it into the loom and keep the closed loop benefits.

Smokin I figured out why it did not code your bike..... And know why it coded Wheelie & myself.... Your bike was Blue, ours are Black!...

Great numbers. Looks like the ct is the pipe so far for this bike. Be interesting to see what numbers the new alien head puts up compared to the ct.

Are you creating a AH2 canister that will work on the AH1 exhaust? I mentioned this before in a previous conversation.

Code means nothing and it resets so no big deal. Means unrealistic situation rear wheel spinning for certain time/speed computer says possible sensor failure.

I agree that the CT works well, also factor in the run conditions becuase there could be a couple hp depending.
Example:
Seno-humidity 29%
Wee-humidity 93%
Break in miles:
Seno-500
wee-75
There is a 5hp and 4tq difference between the two.
The pipe may or may not have been the factor.

Not really, It's not just the muffler that's too small on the first generation systems -- it's the headpipes and flanges also. Also, the angle of the midpipe is wrong to match the Alien Head 2 muffler (belly pan is too tight) + I can get more ground clearance. There will be no conversion kits I'm afraid.
As far as power is concerned. The CT will make considerably more than the old system on the 14R. You can't compare different bikes/dynos etc. + no mapping in the middle holds back peak.
Our new stainless line will be finished soon and it will come close to the Ti in power, at much nicer price for the cost conscious.

I am thinking of getting one of your systems once I get the new bike. As I am really wanting the longest megaphone you will make. I will wait for your new 14R system and run my muzzle in the mean time.

Very nice video .. My falt the dyno guy didn't take mine to the limiter .... i asked him to shut it down at 11K by the factory tach reading .. We all know that 11k in our tachs is really not 11k .. There might have been a few HP that i didn't get by doing that ...

I am pissed because the camera was rolling for an hour and a half.... only got a 2 min video that I edited to the pull. Thanks btw, just frustrated that the camera shut off... Used 275MB out of 16GB on a full charge.
