Non California Gas Tank

Hi everyone,

I'm tweeked my 2008 California Gas Tank and purchase a use tank. The California tank had 3 nipples coming out the back. The non-California models only had 2 nipplies coming off the back.

I did the smog removal. So, I removed the carbon canistor and all the lines plugged up the vacuum lines that went to the throttle body.

My question is:
1. The nipple on the left side of the tank goes to a breather by the left foot peg. However, it's capped off. Is this suppose to be capped for non-california Bikes?

2. where does the right rear nipple on the tank go? Is it suppose to vent to amosphere? If, so could i just put a Y connector and vent to the breather by the left foot peg?

Just need some help. Thanks in advance.

I was thinking about doing the blockoff plates. But, where would the crankcase pressure go? I don't see any other vents.
