30hp..........are you kidding Kawasaki??? 14,600 is definately starting to look like a bargain!!
If you look at close to red line its 41hp!!!!! And remember I ran 9.65 146 at atco raceway just 2 days before I flew to Vegas and ran 9.61 149 on the 14R

Thanks Ricky for the time and effort to continue reporting on the new 14 that is frickin awesome, 30 hp and 11 foot pounds of torque and thats without bolt ons. Looks like I am definately going to Bike week in Daytona haven't been there in seven years got a good excuse to go and gonna bring my leathers to go the track while I am there. Ohhyeaa Why do I have tolive in the midwest

SAE would be right at 192 and 162 ... Anyway you slice it that's 30 HP gain over the old Zx14 .... Damn !!!!!! And Rickys bike has NO break in time ..

had 12 miles when I was done..................NO BREAK IN whatsoever and they always pickup with miles on it!

41 HP over the old zx14 at peak ... Unreal !!!! Some miles and an oil change to syn oil that bike is going to be bumping 200 HP STD Stock !!!

Holy shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mine makes about 180 std with full TiForce and a K&N and about +4 deg advance.....now I want the 2012!!!

I love how this bike makes power right to the limiter like the ZX 12 did!!!!!..............my 2006 Zx 14 would flatten out at like 9500 till it was piped and tuned.

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.

Wish we had a Dyno handy around here , I'd love to know what my 2012 ZX14R makes now that i added the Brocks pipe .. Maybe 200 HP ? and that is without a P/C and tune... ____________

Going to throw mine on the Dyno in next week if I have time... Hoping ofr 200 with CT. Will be very happy if its at 200..

WOW...Thanks Ricky for your effort in reporting back-to-back HP and Torque numbers between Gen 1 and Gen 2 ZX14s...this is the holy grail of information have been waiting for, the back-to-back same day comparison.
Which way to the dealership? I will be walking into the dealer with full wood.
