what oil are most of you using in your bikes...without opening a can of worms...i was going to go with amsoil but would like to hear what is most reccomended tnx in advance ...mike

Mobil invented synthetic and has been selling it longer than anyone. It is used in Nascar and Indy racing and they can afford anything. My choice for a streetbike. That said Joe Gibbs oil was designed just for racing and to be extremely low friction. My choice for a race only bike. But just like Budweiser and Miller, the debate will go on. LSL

I usually run golden Spectro semi-synthetic in all my bikes. This one only has 500 miles and using Kawasaki blended semi currently (changed the oil at 100). Going to change it again soon.

Sorry to burst your bubble but silver top mobile one is really only "hydrocracked" petrolium oil. The gold top has some "pao's in it and is a little bettor..........Run Red Line or Motul (group 5) for your best synthetics.

Well what ever it is it flat works, I get 2 years out of a clutch which is 400 to 500 passes and my buddy uses it and he has 800 passes on his clutch after 2 years and we just took it out to inspect it and it looks like it has 10 runs on it! we run 5-20
