where the hell are all the 2012s at?
I am a new member bit have been reading the boards for years. I sold my 06 in fall and have been waiting patiently for my 2012. I keep reading about all these bikes that are on the showroom floor and in other members garages but alas not one in the Midwest yet. There is one on eBay from a Ohio dealer, but I know they don't have it because they mention no color, and have a bs pic. Anybody know anything? It's cold as hell here In st Louis but I would have already had 500 miles on mine and had it on the dyno by now if I had gotten it when some of u other guys did,lol..

We have a couple here in simi valley, ventura county for 15k OTD.. too bad I cant afford one right now.

I live in north Florida but had to go to Alabama to get one. Of cousre I would have went to Texas if I had too.

I spoke to the dealer selling the one on ebay and he said it is in stock and still in the crate. I thought about driving down to get it but I already have a deposit with my dealer. Also my dealers price is about $600 less.

The dealership has a an SE, and a blue or black at warehouse i believe the dealership is Hammertime Sports in Belvedere, Il. don't know how far your willing to go for one?

There is a green SE in New York for 11,800 OTD. Steal in my opinion. When I told my wife I wanted to get it she kicked me in the balls with words....

epd345, where in NY? There are a lot of sketchy dealerships in Long Island from what I hear. $11,800 sounds insane. That can't be a real OTD, they'll probably pepper it with crazy freight and prep fees.
They're trickling in over here in the Northeast. A lot of dealerships got at least 1 shipment for the showroom the week of Thanksgiving from what I was told. Of the four closest dealerships to me, two got greens and they're all sold. One dealership said they won't get any until January. The one dealership that has it in stock has it in black. I would've gotten mine there, but they refused to match the other dealership's offer. $14K FULL OTD - tax, freight, prep, title, registration, etc.. Over here where I am, that's an amazing price. I guess it could also be because it's the Winter.  So now I'm sitting and waiting until the next batch comes in, hopefully before Christmas.

None here in central Florida either, I called every Kaw stealer in the Orlando area friday looking for one. Hopeing to get mine under $15g otd... when they finally show up.

My buddy works at Sloans in Murfreesboro, TN, He's supposed to text me when they get some in. I want to check them out and possibly test ride one!

12000 is way under invoice... it has to be a 2011 they are trying to push off. no dealeris going to take a hit on these right now..

I forgot about Ramsey Motorsports, been there a few times, seemed like a pretty cool place.
That $11,800 is probably for a 2011. Most 2011s have been selling below $10k since the summer time, so that's actually not a good price for it. If it is a 2012, they'll dump it with so much documentation, freight, and prep fees that it might as well be MSRP once you are actually out the door. I'm getting it for a true OTD price of $13979. I'm pretty sure that's the lowest anyone will go. I shopped around Saturday and no other dealership wanted to touch that price as I was told that price is extremely aggressive and basically at cost with little to no profit.
The dealership I'm getting it from tells me that there's a Kawasaki shipment plant right in Central Jersey, so I think that could help explain why the Northeast are getting all the initial shipments even though it's Winter, while the warmer riding areas like Florida still don't have it.

Guy's I work at a dealership and your getting a hell of price if you can be around 13,500 before tax, my price was a little better than that, but I won't tell because it wouldn't be fair to other dealers. I am telling the honest truth.

God damn it I just want my bike.. I would pay full list if I could have just gotten it early enough to be able to put some.miles.on it before the damn snow hits..
