quote: Hey youngsters...my odometer reads, 67 years old next month on the 21st of January! (Still in decent shape, bench around 300lb yet.)
Sold my 07 ZX14 about 18 months ago, with most of the mods at the time...
not my first Kawi...
1st fast one was an H1 750 triple two stroke in '72
2nd 900 KZ '73
3rd Ltd 900
4th Ltd 1000
5th 900 Eliminator (forgot the year model)
6th ZX12 2000 model
7th ZX14 2007 almost maxed out
(NOT INCLUDED '86 V-MAX & MISC. Norton's, Triumph, H-D'S)
Do I win a "prize" for being the oldest "fart" aboard???????? This geezer still likes speed & power!
Without question, the ZX14 was the favorite and owned it longer than any others!
NEXT ANOTHER BLACK...MAYBE BLUE 2012 ZX14R WHEN I GET BACK TO THE STATES...
OK...THANKS FOR LISTENING ..
RON
I'm tied with Ron as the oldest! As soon as my green 14R comes in I will be trading in my warmed over 191hp 07. Can't wait for Feb 1,to get a stock bike with 200 rwhp. My buddy is 66yrs old and just picked up his green 14R and with 15 miles of dyno break in made 202 SAE hp!! We have been fighting motorcycle horsepower war for about 50 yrs!!

The 14 is not an old Coot's machine. Have owned two Harleys and three Indians, By comparison though, the 2012R is the Enterprise Star Trek compared to WW1 Biplanes of past days.

55 y.o. Been riding since 1970. I've owned and operated over 25 motorcycles and the ZX14 is the best bike I've ever owned for the street. What can be wrong with endless power, solid engineering and quality build? I'll keep my '08 for a long, long time. When I turn 70 I'll get a new one!

46 here. Way too many bikes to list. Raider S came yesterday; ZX14R comes tomorrow. Those and my little Versys, for run-around duty, will have to do it for a while. I gotta' quit spending so much money on these things. Love 'em.

In some ways it's cool to be older ... Like on July 19 1969 i turned 13 and the next day we landed the first man on the moon .. I got to meet Bobby Kennedy just before he was killed .. Played with Levar Burton when he was just a kid .. Met Charlton Heston while he was making the Omega Man movie and Jim Brown and George Kennedy while making the movie Tic Tic Tic.... I even had a walk on part in the movie .. ... Remember being sent home from school when JFK was Killed .. Met Juan Corona before he killed 25 people with an ax in Marysville Calif ....When to High school with Joe Rose .
Now i own the fastest production bike in the world ... Life is good ....
