Sounds like we have close to the same setup. You got to get those rpm's up if your going to get a good 60ft.
I leave at 6,000rpm. You need to find your "sweet spot". Start at 5,000 and make a pass. Then go up to 5,200... Make a pass. Using the same technique, keep doing it until you wheelie. Then step it down a few hundred rpm's.

That is low. I'm 8 over and leave at 6K. Normal 60 ft is 1.46. Best pass so far is 5.84 @ 122 1/8 mile. Try a higher RPM and work your way up to the sweet spot.

I leave between 4000 and 4500 rpms and go 1.37 all day and a best of 1.35, 66 inch wheelbase and 16-45 gearing. These bikes don't need alot of rpm to leave good.

With the bike stretched, you may find traction to be your next concern once you start launching more aggressively so be sure to have a decent sticky tire.

It has been said numerous times before, but truer words have not been spoken . . . "seat time"

These things are tractors, I know there are different riding styles so you have to see what works for you. My 06 was 64.5 WB and I would leave at 4500 and usually went low 1.40's. Only broke into the 1.30's a few times. Seat time, gearing and body weight are all huge factors. I always went to the track with my numbers in my head, not what others had done. If the weekend prior I was 1.50 avg then by the end of the day I wanted to be 1.49 avg. Keep goin to the track and most importantly keep having fun.
