sluggish start!!??

so i recently put an air shifter with a digi kill 3, since then it takes a while to start and back fires (only when cold).

is this normal because i installed this, or there is something wrong?

Do you have a Power Commander? Where did you splice the Digi-kill wires? These wires from the Digi-kill have to be on the injector side of the wire bundle. If you spliced in before the PC, this will cause issues.
