Well everyone, i got some extra free time and i think i will get to go race the Tx mile in March, the bike is a bolt on SWB 14 with 40-80 shot i just want to get to 200mph and id be happy thats the last goal that i have on the check list.
So what is the best gearing for the bike on a 40 shot spraying from 3rd or so on??

Good guestion. I was thinking 18-41 or 18-40 gearing with 40-50 shot and spraying only 5th and 6th?

I'd go with the 5th and 6th first and see how you're doing. Don't forget to consider rider size, bottle size and setup in determing what will work for you. Should be attainable with a 40 shot under normal conditions.
I did 200.2 at Texas with a headwind on a less than 40 shot zx12. Good luck.
-1 on the back should do the trick.

sorry to bump old topic, but 18-41 was pretty good gearing with 48 (4x12) shot, spraying 5th+6th in wet track:

mods: all stock but slipons, 1" lowered, adams spraybar, pcv (only added +22% 5th and 6th)+qs
