1Badzx12....

It has become apparent to me that you really want one of these bikes, but can't afford to have one.... You want to compare a fully built grudge bike with a slider and weight added to a stock motor bike with a pipe and lowered...

Just the mere mention of this bike in this post is crazy..... wow are you that jacked up.... compare your shit to this bike ..... you had 20 zx14's how many were bought brand new?
......
This 14R is going to fly and we that are going to purchase one really dont care about your opinion of the bike or your comparisons, especially when they don't make sense.....

For the record, I ran my 07 stock wheel base with a muzzy exhaust and usb, -1front and lowered, not slammed. My best times were 9:54@144mph. I weighed 205 lb at the time.
My bike only made 174 on a fair reading dyno.... its didn' t have no where near the TQ this one does....

I will pick mine up on May and install my BST, Brock exhaust, lowered with some ballast.. I am sure I should run some 9:3s or high 20s... that's foot shifting.... I am sure it will take a few track days to get my skills back up, since I will not be on a bike drag racing in about a year....

So chill with the bashing..... you haven't done nothing but complain every since the bike came out.... we get it you are not buying one....

remember I have not been on the track in 7 months, and this was the first time trying to take off from a dead stop on my new bike, 6.30's are not great but for the first run at a drag strip seems ok, y'all know that 6.34 is just my starting point, times would only get quicker with another day at the track, then if I had all summer at swb who knows what the numbers would be, by no means am I a pro so one time out the 6.34 doesn't sound so bad lol. I am installing my air shifter right now, swingarm might come this week according to Mcintosh, stay tuned for some wot numbers

"Drinking the Kool-Aid" is a metaphor commonly used in the United States and Canada that refers to a person or group's unquestioning belief in an ideology, argument, or philosophy without critical examination. The phrase typically carries a negative connotation when applied to an individual or group. The basis of the term is a reference to the November 1978 Jonestown Massacre,[1][2] where members of the Peoples Temple were said to have committed suicide by drinking a "Kool-Aid"-like drink laced with cyanide.[3]

Evidence gathered at the Jonestown site after the incident indicated that Flavor Aid (a similar powdered drink mix), not Kool-Aid, was used in the massacre. Some survivors of the incident object to the link between blind faith and the deaths of members of the People's Temple implied by the phrase, because some victims were murdered—forced to drink at gunpoint—rather than being convinced or forced to commit suicide. In addition, Jim Jones had previously had many rehearsals for the event in which the drink contained no poison, which led to cult members believing the drink was harmless on the day that it did contain poison[4]

Objections notwithstanding, the phrase is commonly used in a variety of contexts to describe blind, uncritical acceptance or following.

Teddy, as for me follwing you..... That's my goal; since I have reached rest of them, I see no reason to think I can't obtain this one. I am not going to ride it with the stock gearing... I am thinking 16/38 or so... the lighter wheels will require taller gearing the rear.....

i haven't said 1 thing about the rider .. in fact the rider (wee) did better than rickey did in san diego on the zx14r same set-up .. but what i'm at is about the power.. i've owned more zx14's than anybody on this forum .. and from what i was expecting from a 4mm stroke and ported head and all the other refinements over the gen1's .. just ain't seeing it . i know its still early.. but somewhere its been denutted
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

14r is 584lbs ,29lbs + over Gen1 555lbs

1st to 2nd drops 26% or 2792 rpm, With Wee having to shift @ 7000 droping back to 4208rpm, that will kill any chance to ET or MPH, criticial to rev to max in 1st and 2nd
,
1st to 2nd @ 10800 - 2792 drops back to 8008 rpm

2nd to 3rd drops 20.6% or 2225 rpm

2nd to 3rd shift @ 10800 - 2225 drops back to 8575 rpm

3rd to 4th drops 13,7% or 1480 rpm

3rd to 4th shift @ 10800 - 1480 drops back to 9320rpm

4th to 5th drops 13.4% or 1447rpm

4th to 5th shift @ 10800 - 1447 drops back to 9353rpm

5th to 6th drops 10.3% or 1112rpm

3th to 6th shift @ 10800 - 1112 drops back to 9688rpm

you will see some in December at Bradenton, hit the final Runday Sunday of the year.... I am sure there will be several ready to rock..... especaially the Orlando crew....

I think that bike will run some 8:20's piped, shifter, tuned, stretched min 64 inch, lowered and regeared with good gas.

Rg's 61inch zx10 runs 160 mph..... with a slip on, ECU mod, good gas and a tune up....
why are you doubting the numbers. ... This bike ran some 8:5s; I understand the 100 lbs weight difference, but do you understand the almost 40 ft lbs of tq difference.

If I am stretching it, it's not by much.... you will see

SS head w/ 47mm tb's we are talking over 230 rwhp with stock cams, we are talking bout 8teens on a midly moded zx14r
