I got all excited today, but what a letdown.

Blue did not come in today - now they are saying Monday.

Maybe I'll wait for the GREEN???

Looks great. Did your 14R come with the immobilizer anti-theft device?

You keep asking about the windscreen... Does it really matter?? If you have a screen for a gen1, sell it and buy a new one for your new bike

Wee, Does the swingarm spacing at the frame look like the Gen 1's? wondering if my mac arm will be interchangable?

It should be interchangeable since it's the same frame!

Congrat's wee............. Good pics with the D7.

Does the bike feel any heavier? I looked up some numbers.........563 lbs for the 06/07, 584.3 for the 2012...... 21.3 lbs difference.
41 lbs for the 2012 exhaust, 37 lbs 2 oz for the gen 1 exhaust. So only 3 lbs 14oz (call it 4 lbs ) diff in the exhaust. So 17 lbs heavier using comparable aftermarket exhaust.
So I was wondering if you could tell any difference in the handling?

it feels allot lighter after removing the exhaust, remember some extra weight is from a bigger motor, and that weight is in the right spot.

I bet it does feel lighter with 40 lbs gone....... Your bike looks real nice......I personally like the black the best, my 07 is the same color. I wish they would just have a black with no metalic in it. Every time I see mine in the sun it looks like it has dust on it........

the 2012 doesn't have the big sparkles but up close and in the right light it looks like charcoal color, back off and it's black

that traction control is cool, but I don't like it defaulting into mode one on start up, maybe I can set it not to

I know you haven't run the crap out of it so far, but does the TC help keep the wheel down or can you tell yet?

I had it in mode one which allows very slight wheel spin I believe, so it didn't stop it from floating 2nd gear, wonder what it will do when I do a burn out in the puddle at the track? lol gonna see about that mode one default.
