a little less than 11, #4 headpipe hits the radiator at the bottom, the lower bracket has a long enough bolt to add some washers behind it, had to remove lower and mid fairings, almost ready to put them on.

Did you happen to measure the ID of the pipes at the entrance and compare that to the exhaust ports to confirm what Smokin was told by Brock?

"The other thing is the spigots that go into the port ... The new head is 70 thou larger exhaust port than the old head .. . The old pipe will bolt up but there will be a little bit of the pipe in the flow path ."

wait till you guys install a pipe LOLOLOL it aint easy, and with the shimmed radiator the fairings don't fit perfect, the radiator touches the fairing so the holes are not lined up exact, pics shortly, knowing how the fairings come off is a big help.

yep, I installed JZX's Muzzle, shimming the radiator is not good, but for testing it's ok.

The Muzzy's definitely stick out more than a Brock's. The Muzzy already required a bracket to extend the radiator out, on the old 14.

Man, I want one of these bikes!

Either way, Brock did have to move the radiator, so I'm sure all gen 1 pipes will have to be fit this way. Want a perfect fit everyone will have to wait for gen 2 pipes to be manufactured. My question is how well did the pipes fit the head.

Agreed. But the M14 already stuck out more...so it might be a little more difficult to fit?

37 pounds 2 oz for the gen 1 according to Brocks Diaries.........

"THE STOCK EXHAUST WEIGHS 37 LBS 2 OZ.?! That is a 27 lb weight savings adding our Gen 3 system!!!"

So where does that leave us as far as the difference in weight between the two?

I never used the bracket to move the radiator on my 06. My guess is the angle of the head pipes is different from Brocks in order to get the superior ground clearance the M14 is known for.

The Muzzy definitely sticks forward more. I just used the bracket they sent with it, on the old 14. I am sure Wee will have some details of the fitment on the new bike.

I've had the M14, but switched to the shortmeg, and then CT pipe on my 14....interested to hear how they all fit the new one.

This bike is pretty tempting, that's for sure.

just took a quick ride, I tucked this time in 2nd and the front wheel is just skipping on the ground, sitting upright it will float up. Feels strong all the way to redline, and this is just second and third gear, traction goes default 1 every time you start it, but that's a good thing, that will when some street races on slick roads.
