lets see what Lucky14 says, I remember when I went 16-48 on my gen 1, was told it would hit the limiter before the 1/4 mile lol, turned out to be perfect for me, I think a few other guys followed and they were happy with it, gen 2 is different.

After running a lot of numbers and deciding not to post them, I don't see anything wrong with 17/51.

That gets you through the 1/8th in 4th gear and through the 1/4 in 6th gear.

You know that I ran 16/48 on the 08, on your recommendation, and it worked great for me.

I was running the 15-45 which is the exact same as 16-48 for a while early this year. It was a lot of work controlling wheelies on my 07. I see it being even worse with the 1441.

Gen 1 - 14, primary 1.541, 1st gear 2.625. 16 x 48 = 3.00 x 1.541 x 5th- 1.036 =
4.79 overall= 161 mph @ 10600

2012-14r--Only difference is primary 1.556, and 1st gear -2.611 , all the rest are same
17 x 51 = 3.00 x 1.556 x 1.036 =
4.83 overall = 160 @ 10600

As discussed above:
The primary gear is different on the 14R but not by very much, Gen1(14) = 1.541, Gen2 (14R)= 1.556.
1st gear on the 14 is 2.625 and 2.611 on the 14R.
For 2nd through to 6th both 14 and 14R have the same internal ratios.

The Gen2 14R, running stock 17/42, is geared for 197mph at the engine rev limiter.
The Gen1 14, running stock 17/41, is geared for 204mph at the engine rev limiter. Assuming either of them could get there in 6th.

If Wheelie uses 17/51 on a 14R it will hit the rev limiter in 6th at 162.

I would appreciate any information about the top speed limiter on the 14R. Is it still 186mph/300kph and is it the rear wheel speed sensor?
