Well guys, I too am excited about this bike and I too chose the SE! If any of you are in Texas and dont mind driving to Houston, Pasadena Kawasaki seems to have the best price in the area. Give Mr. Miles a call at 713-472-3694. Ron Sussman can also help you if Cliff Miles is busy. They are serious about moving ZX14R's so if you want a awesome deal Call Them.

I think Lee will run some 9teens stock wb, exhaust, w/air shifter

It better run that .. Hell i did that with the 09 a long time ago .. 9.11 @ 152 stock wheel base , piped and tuned .. This bike should match that without an exhaust ..

I could live with that .. I'm not worried about what it will do at 62 or 64 inches . What I want to do is put this bike in the 8s with stock wheel base ..

I too am waiting to see Lee's progression with various mods and weight reductions. Curious is an understatement wanting to see the differences with each mod made. With a skilled rider(real world rider but better than most) there will be a lot of eyes pointed his way for sure. I'm a few years out (at least) from the possibility of getting one of these new 14's but at least if I run up against one with "similar" mods to my 08', I'll know what to expect in terms of getting smacked.
Lee, will you even try running the bike at stock height unstrapped to see how you can do on it? I know it's almost a newbie kinda thing to do but just for the sake of it or would that be a waste of time?
