Gen I Gen II swingarm
will a Gen I swingarm fit a Gen II? I want one from that old dilapidated building in Ohio.

if u mean an 06-07 to an 08-011 yes they are the same except paint.

gen 3 is a half inch longer i was told thats it.

soooo...Will it fit? I have have a trac dynamics +6" 240 swingarm I had orignally bought for my 2007 zx14 that I would like to put on a 2012 zx-14 but have been unable to definitively know if it will fit. Anyone have some insight?

The swingarm I put on is off a ZX-14 and it fit my 14R just fine, just had make a new break bar, otherwise bolted right no problems

A new brake bar???? I was told that the swingarm extensions from the earlier 14's WILL fit on the new 14R swingarm ???? Your thoughts kawitom

I don't kow about extensions the arm I bought is a Adams strongarm and the only reason the break bar had to be redone was because of the traction control sensor, the break bar attaches to the rear caliper. some of the other arms use a heim joint setup so those wil bolt up with no problems
