GPR V4 damper fit from a 2007 to a 2012?
Anyone know if the damper will fit from a 2007 on a 2012? Was going to send it out and have fluids changed & rebuilt, great company and they only charge $25 to do the service. Looks a little different with the billet nut, just curious if it will fit before I waste the money. Damper is one of these things you get used to when riding on allot of shitty roads like we have in NY. Several years ago going low speed in traffic down the highway, I hit a pothole which sent me into a wicked tank slapper.... since then I have always been a fan of dampers.

How much you getting the new one for. I notice Kawsaki is giving an extra 500 off promotion right now. Also see a dealer in NY selling them for 13,200.

That is a cash price not including freight, prep, taxes, tags... I gave them my 07 (7500 trade in) and paying 7500 additional out the door including 4 year warranty, taxes, title, tag transfer..... A good deal in my opinion, ny state tax is 8.625%. Figure bike 13.2, freight, prep, tags 275, 4 year extended warranty 700= 14,175, add NY state tax and it's 15,397.59.... I did fine, and there is something to be said for supporting my local dealer I have been using for 20+ years literally.

When I bought my 07 leftover in May of 08 I was planning on going to troy City who had a left over in Blue for 8999. I ended up finding a white one at a dealer in MA and they wanted more. I made the 8999 offer over the phone and they said come get it as I didnt really want a blue one. My friend bought a new FZ1 from Troy City a year later. Their deals are great and they move a ton of units.

Does not work on 2012, you can mount it but the units base is supposed to lock in, instead it will spin... Useless till they make a new mount.
Got this email back from GPR yesterday "We were not aware that the 2012 had changed. We have not made a new mount for the 2012 yet, But we intend to.
Hopefully we will get our hands on a bike in the next few weeks.
I will contact you when we start the progress."
