All my numbers came off 66" wb bike. I wasn't as consistant when I was at 16/43 as I am at 16/48. So my advice wouldn't be very helpful.

seat time is your best friend. Get out there and see what rpms work best for you and your riding style. Everyone is different.

If you leave the flys in, you can go with an ecu unleashed tune and pick up big mid rpm hp. My tuner talked me into it, this is how it works, the ecu is programed to open the flys at a much lower rpm (just like pulling them) then at mid rpm they start to close creating a Venturi effect speeding up the incoming air or somthing (i dont know the details on how this part works) boosting hp.

thanks...I did remove the fly's..but would I would go with an ECU reflash and leave them in nowadays. This was not an option at the time when I did mine.

Are you talking about a 14 or was that a Busa???

I didn't think anyone ever successfully cracked the 14 ECU???

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

My local tuner offers ecu unleashed for the genII 14's. If you re install the flys they can be manipulated to give a nice mid rpm hp boost.

Dynotronics charged me $450.00 for the ZX14 ECU reflashed. He raised the RPM limiter 450 rpms, removed the top end speed restriction, removed the timing retard in the first four gears, and turned the radiator cooling fan on 10 degrees earlier. Here is a link to their website: http://www.dynotronicstuning.com/. I hope this helps.

What kind of tire? How is your rear suspension set up? Your suspension can play a big role in getting the tire to hook.
