ROLL CALL**************WHO'S ACTUALLY BUYING A 14R?*******************

1. I am!!!
2. Wheelie is.
3. Who else?

I mean right now - your mind's made up - can't live without it!!!

I believe Rickey.
This is a bargain for what you get.
I don't care what the 10R might or might not do.
Dyno numbers? No need to wait - they are going to impress.
Quarter mile? We already have that from Rickey - just correct to sea level DA to be dazzled.
Brock will be breaking down the fine points of tuning this beast.

I'm not seeing how this could get much better! I am as excited now as I was when I was on the waiting list for my 2006 14 without the R.

Sooooooooooooo .................. who's in?

We will have three in my camp!
-Tricky Dick
-Geno
-JTR Inc

Right now, we are deciding on what after market parts to install....
-muzzy M14 exhaust (produced the most HP in SSB shoot-out, and designed for built bikes)
-battling between Biz vs PcV (cost and upgrade options)
-chrome-moly vs stock weld up (Evil arm weigh 13 lbs & cost 600.00)
-after market wheels (Carozzi Tri-R vs Marchaini M10) Forged Aluminums(can't determine which is the lightest)
-clutch set up (unknown-no info on exisiting clutch) holding for now with just springs/shims; possibly going with a simple Cyclelogic two stage) cost 250.00

Yep this is where we are right now.....

As much as I would love to run right out and buy one.... like I did with the '00 ZX12.... I think I'll take a "wait and see" approach this time.

I am in for purchasing the 14R! Have the 08 14 already in the garage, along with my original 93 ZX11. I can do my own "butt-dynomometer" testing.

LUCKY: You inspired me to purchase the 08 14...your pictures of your black 2008 14 parked beside a dock became my screensaver.

I had it as the background on mine until I recently got a new laptop.

I'll be getting new pics soon.

ordering add ons has already begun with me, I want my first trip to the track to be at 69", piped, lowered/strapped, airshifter, geared, slick. I'm sure I will have allot of takers wanting to try and test the 14r at the track so I want to be ready .

Green SE for me ... Only mods will be a strap and lowering links ... NO pipe for now ... We will see what it runs ... Any bets on my ETs ?

All this hinges on what the DRs say i can do or not do .

I want the black one, chrome wheels, swing arm, with a Brock's pipe and a pc3. I know a color I really like will come later so I will sell the black plastics and buy new ones. I love the black and orange special edition paint scheme. They always seem to bring out some awesome colors later,

If I can get good money for my 2009 R1, I will be sporting a green one towards the end of next season. (maybe get a better deal towards the end of the season) I truly miss my 2006 ZX-14 and for that reason me and the wife already agreed that this would be a great purchase. I took my R1 out today with my wife and we both couldn't wait to make a pit stop to get some food (give our backs and wrists a break). My wife busts my chops every time about me selling my old one. I regret it as well the bike did everything well. As I am getting older, i appreciate something more relaxed. Pray for me guys! Hopefully I can win the lottery and I can keep both steeds in the garage. Anyone who gets one please post picks ASAP! I had a blue 06 and was never a fan of green but the green seems to be the best color. I must take a look in person. Hopefully the F-ed up economy promotes better prices! we will see...

I've got a Black ZX-14R ABS on order here in Perth, Western Australia. Money is down, order is confirmed. ETA January.

Still working out what slip-ons to get, but likely it will be a pairof Yoshi Stainless/Stainless TRC's

I'm not going to be seen dead on my 14R with those huge & ugly stock mufflers!!!
