Throttle Position Signal Wire? Schnitz TPRS-002
Does anybody know what wire the TPS Wire is? I thought it was the terminal 26 left hand ECU plug , yellow/white. I wired it up that way, but the Schnitz TPRS-002 shows the TPS signal ON no matter what setting I place it at. It is supposed to be a signal that increase from 0 to 5 volts as you roll on the throttle. Any help will surely be appreciated.
Thanks

It is the yellow/white wire, it also has silver stripes going around it. It sounds like you are on the right one(left ecu connector, the biggest one), just check your connections. Are you using crimp on splices, or is it soldered?

Yeah I tapped into the wrong wire. Thanks. I am using 3M ScotchLok weather seal crimp splices. It seems to work well now, but one question.....Full throttle is like 3.0 volts based on what setting I have on the TPRS. Is this normal?
Thanks again

Not sure on the voltage. If you have a Power Commander you can just double check if it is getting to 100%. Sometimes when you tap into that wire it can draw down the signal a bit.

OK, cool that make sense. I took it for a spin arounf the block and it felt like it was truly getting to WOT, so I was a little confused.
BTW, are you the only guy on this site that knows anything about TPRS?? LOL!

I would still check it to be safe, I doubt you would be able to tell if it was off by a couple of percent.
