We all know that if it's not a busa it can't possibly hold a world record. Been proven time and time again. I'm actually surprised that anyone other than suzuki is allowed by the world council to build motorcycles

With regards to comparing a record setting Pro-Street Busa (Ryan Schnitz/HTP 6.90@203) to a Top-Fuel Bike such as one ridden by Larry McBride, Kory Hogan, or the late Elmer Trett is not even possible. What Ryan done on the Pro-Street busa is a serious feat. That is a standard street tire bike that is ridden by one of the best in the business,Ryan Schnitz, and tuned by one of the best NOS tuners, Cecil Towner from HTP. Now for the BUT. That beast ridden by Larry McBride is noting less than amazing. It may have some sissy sticks hung from the rear, but I can guarantee that is takes a real man and some serious skill to pilot that thing. If you every get the chance to see a Top Fuel bike run, check out how those guys are leaning and fighting to keep that beast in order. Larry McBride is not exactly a small guy either. Before you hammer me, yes I have gone seven seconds on a street tire turbo bike. But I guess if I were given chance to ride a top fuel bike, I would probably become a sissy and just say no. I have a ton of respect for both of those guys, pulling off numbers like those require a lot of hard work and determination.

There is no way in hell ever would I if given the chance try a top fuel bike. There is a reason there is usually only a 4-6 bike feild and thats pushing it. I HAVE seen them run in person and notice everyone who attends the race from vendors to all other racers drop what they are doing just to see these monsters go.
Now i would have no fear jumping on a prostock bike- and way before I would ride a prostreet bike of todays calibur, namely the turbos..

Busa or not its awsome to see the Prostreet bikes break into the 6's! Just a little more and they are surpassing the NHRA Prostock bikes.

wow spoken by true gentleman . Many have spent lots of money trying to get in the six's and its always great to see when it happens busa or not. And only an idot would compare what Mcbride has done to what Ryan did. Some guys are so stupid its not even funny and to make matters worst they post on line so everyone can see it. Top fuel vs dry Nos yea apples vs apples what an idot. There is no one on the site that has the balls or the money to do what McBride does yet there are many people on this site that can afford to do what HTP does. Also since when does Kaw make a top fuel bike?
